Unreliable
I'm sorry to report that the Kitchenaid Built In Refridgerators have poor workmanship and reliability. My unit has has a compressor failure which was covered under warranty. And then later a failure of all the LED lights. Kitchenaid/Whirlpool was not willing to cover the repairs of the faulty LED control leaving me on my own to deal with the costly repairs. bad design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this fridge is nice enough, but you can NOT open the drawers on the right side of the fridge when you open the right side door.........to get into those right side drawers you have to open BOTH doors! also the lights inside are VERY bright........ Had I had a chance to look at this fridge before buying it, I would annot have purchased it. oh, by the way, this was a replacement for the exact same brand and style fridge. The old one was much better. the right side drawers could be accessed when opening the right side door.... easy peasy. I do like the new door handles. They are smaller and it's easier not to smudge the doors !

Nice large refrigerator with some cool features

Very large with no storage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im so very disappointed with how shallow the unit is. I was excited to buy an entire suite of Kitchenaid appliances for my new kitchen. It is “oversized” in it’s width and height however, almost unusable with interior cubic ft. Additionally, the light in the pull out freezer area is set so far back in the unit, it is useless.

Great storage and features.

Of course we wish it hadn’t cost as much. But the storage and features are great. The only complaint is that you have to open both doors to get the produce drawer open. That wasn’t true in our older version.

Beautiful inside and out with issues
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice looking refrigerator that cools and freezes as it should. The issues that bother me, are you can't open the right side crisper door without opening both the refrigerator outer doors, and when you pull out the ice drawer to get ice, sometimes the ice maker will drop ice at that moment and dump into the bottom of the freezer.

Disposable Appliances at a Premium Price
I outfitted my home with a kitchen full of KitchenAid appliances and am severely disappointed in the quality of my built in refrigerator. I honestly don't understand how the company can justify charging so much for such inferior products. My fridge has literally been one headache after another. Further, their "certified" repair folks are the same shoddy crew that the home warranties send out, with an express intent to deny culpability for any issues. I look forward to the inevitable issues I will encounter with my other appliances so that I will never have to deal with this terrible company again. So disappointing.
